SUBJECT MATTER: NOTICE OF RENEWAL OF YOUR 2025-2026 MEMBERSHIP

Dear member:

Your status as a therapist-member in good standing with the Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists of Canada is ending shortly and must be renewed from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026. You are therefore invited you to pay your annual dues if you wish to benefit from the services and privileges provided by our group.

2025-2026 ANNUAL DUES:  $276 (including taxes)

You will find instructions for making your payment on the Renewal tab of our website. (http://www.acnn.ca/en/renewal/).

The 2025-2026 annual dues must be paid as of May 1, 2025 so that your clients’ claims may be processed by insurance companies without any delay.

Please note that if your payment reaches us after May 1, 2025 or if your cheque is declared “NSF” by your financial institution, an administrative fee of $37 (taxes included) will be billed to you.

Within 10 business days of receiving your payment, we will email your renewal package including your invoice with the mention “PAID”.

Members publicly expressing opinions

You will find hereunder the main clauses of our Code of Ethics and By-laws that members of the Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists of Canada agree to abide by when they publicly express their opinions:

2.4. When publicly expressing opinions or values, members shall specify that they do so in their own name and that their opinions are their own and not those of their colleagues or of the Academy;

2.5 Members expressing their opinions shall do so with honesty, objectivity, accuracy and discernment, and undertake to personally verify in advance the veracity and nature on the information conveyed;

The members of the OPDQ can no longer practice naturopathy

Subsequent to an instruction from the “Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec (OPDQ)”, La Capitale informed us, on August 29, 2018, of its decision to no longer reimburse the expenses incurred with any member of the Academy or any other association that would also be a member of the OPDQ. La Capitale now refuses foot care provided by naturopaths regardless of the association

Subsequent to discussions between La Capitale, the Ordre des podiatres du Québec and the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec, La Capitale informed us on August 29, 2018, that it no longer reimburses the costs incurred by any member of the Academy or any other association for treatments in foot care.
